CSC's production of the tragic love story Romeo & Juliet continues the company's exploration of the Bard's plays, which includes recent productions of A Midsummer Night's Dream, The Tempest, and Hamlet. They have previously explored the canon of playwright Anton Chekhov, with four acclaimed productions of Uncle Vanya, The Cherry Orchard, Three Sisters, and Ivanov. Currently running at their 13th Street home is a revival of Stephen Sondheim and James Lapine's musical Passion, which will be followed by Bertolt Brecht's The Caucasian Chalk Circle, directed by artistic director Brian Kulick and featuring Christopher Lloyd (Back to the Future).
