In the style of Truman Capote's 1966 Black and White Ball, Blondie lead singer Debbie Harry and Interview magazine hosted a stylish Black and White Bash in honor the Broadway opening of Breakfast at Tiffany's, Richard Greenberg's new stage adaptation of Capote's iconic novella, on Wednesday, March 20 at the Edison Ballroom. Directed by Sean Mathias (Waiting for Godot), the production began previews March 4 at the Cort Theatre.

Set in 1943 New York City, Breakfast at Tiffany's follows Fred (Cory Michael Smith), a young writer from Louisiana who falls for the vivacious and elusive good-time girl, Holly Golightly (Emilia Clarke). The pair, who are making their Broadway debuts, are joined by George Wendt (Elf), Eddie Korbich (A Christmas Story), Paolo Montalban (Pacific Overtures), Tony Award nominees Suzanne Bertish (Wit) and Lee Wilkof (Kiss Me, Kate), Murphy Guyer (Glengarry Glen Ross), Kate Cullen Roberts (Bloody Bloody Andrew Jackson), John Rothman (Relatively Speaking), Danny Binstock (High School Musical), Tony Torn (The Forest), James Yaegashi (Take Me Out), Elisabeth Anthony Gray (Southern Discomfort), and Pedro Carmo (Pan Am).

Guests at the opening included Sirs Patrick Stewart and Ian McKellen, both of whom will appear in Mathias' upcoming Broadway revival of Waiting for Godot, singer-songwriter Sunny Ozell, Tony Award winners Billy Crudup (The Coast of Utopia), Shuler Hensley (The Whale), and Ben Vereen (Pippin), Irish novelist Edna O'Brien, fashion designer Zac Posen, Trudie Styler (The Seagull), AnnaSophia Robb (The Carrie Diaries), Krysta Rodriguez (Smash), Jason Sudeikis (Saturday Night Live), Olivia Wilde (House), and Amy Acker (Much Ado About Nothing), among others.

The creative team for Breakfast at Tiffany's includes Derek McLane (scenic design), Colleen Atwood (costume design), Peter Kaczorowski (lighting design), Wendall K. Harrington (projection design), and Rob Milburn & Michael Bodeen (music and sound design).
