The legendary Bette Midler makes her long-awaited return to Broadway, and you can be there. Tickets to the one-woman show, entitled I'll Eat You Last: A Chat with Sue Mengers, written by Tony Award winner John Logan (Red) are now available at the Booth Theatre. Directed by two-time Tony winner Joe Mantello (Assassins), previews begin April 5 for an opening April 24 at the Booth Theatre.

In her lifetime, Mengers, who died in 2011, was one of Hollywood's major players: a no-nonsense, high-powered female agent in the traditionally male-dominated industry. She coined the word "superagent" to describe herself. Having climbed through the ranks from receptionist to well-known firms including William Morris and I.C.M., her client list included such big names as Barbra Streisand, Mike Nichols, Faye Dunaway, Bob Fosse, Steve McQueen, and Michael Caine.

Bette Midler is the recipient of three Grammys, four Golden Globes, three Emmys, and a 1974 Special Tony Award for "for adding lustre to the Broadway season." She also served as a producer of the recent musical Priscilla Queen of the Desert.

Playwright John Logan is also the author of the play Peter and Alice, and is an Academy Award nominee for his screenplays Gladiator and The Aviator.

The Booth Theatre seats less than 800, and you can click here to get your tickets for this intimate Broadway outing.
