[the claque] to Present Quick and Dirties Workshop Series

[the claque] is set to present Quick and Dirties (QuaDs): ideas are sexy, its second annual play development series, April-May at The Tank.

The QuaDs aim is to provide emerging playwrights with collaborative energy and assistance in fully realizing the ideas in new plays through professional collaboration in front of an audience.

Plays set to have workshops include J. Holtham’s QuaDs include January 2 (April 6 and 8), directed by Liz Carlson’s Braden LuBell’s Noble/Birth (April 20 and 22), directed by Jeremy Bloom; Mark Snyder’s A Descent Stretch (April 28-29), directed by Maryna Harrison; Anne and Ada (May 6), by Rachel Bonds and directed by Linsay Firman; Darcy Fowler’s Bird and the Two Ton Weight (May 11 and 13), directed by Kareen Fahmy, and Unpleasant Men (May 18 and 20), by Alex Borinsky and directed by Nick Leavens.

The series will also feature readings of Megan Sass’ In the Middle, directed by S. Quincy Beard, on April 7 and May 12 and Trey Tatum’s The Adventures of Jesus Jackson, directed by Mason Beggs, on April 21 and May 19.
