Rory O’Malley to Sing National Anthem at NYC Half-Marathon

Tony Award nominee Rory O’Malley will sing the National anthem at the NYC Half-Marathon, to be held on Sunday, March 18.
The runners will race through Central Park, Times Square, the Hudson River waterfront, and lower Manhattan, finishing at the South Street Seaport. Among the participants in the marathon will be stage veteran Paul Sparks, who is running in support of the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation.
O’Malley received Tony and Drama Desk nominations for his supporting role of Elder McKinley in Broadway’s The Book of Mormon. He has also appeared on Broadway in The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee and Off-Broadway in Newsical.
