Marilu Henner, Carole King, Ryan O’Neal, Vanessa Williams Set for Barnes & Noble Appearances

Barnes & Noble has announced its calendar of April celebrity events in New York City.

Tony Award and Emmy Award nominee Vanessa Williams and her mother, Helen, will appear at the store at 160 E. 54th Street for a signing of their book You Have No Idea at 12:30pm on Tuesday, April 17.

Highlights at the chain’s Union Square Store include a book signing and discussion with Rachel Dratch, author of A Girl Walks Into A Bar… (April 4, 7pm), singer Carole King, who will discuss her memoir, Natural Woman (April 10, 7pm), and director Garry Marshall, who will discuss his book, My Happy Days in Hollywood (April 26, 7pm).

The chain’s Upper East Side store will host Delia Ephron, author of the new novel The Lion Is In (April 5, 7pm), actress Ricki Lake, who will discuss her book, Never Say Never (April 19, 7pm), and actress Marilu Henner, who will discuss and sign her book, Total Memory Makeover: Improve Your Memory, Take Charge of Your Life (April 27, 7pm).

Finally, actor Ryan O’Neal will appear at store at 2289 Broadway at 7pm on April 30 to discuss his memoir, Both of Us: My Life With Farrah, about his relationship with the late actress, Farrah Fawcett.
