Leslie Bricusse, Anthony Newley’s The Good Old Bad Old Days to Get May CD Release

Kritzerland will release the original London cast recording of The Good Old Bad Old Days in May. The limited edition disc will mark the first time the album has been available on CD.

With music and lyrics by Leslie Bricusse and Anthony Newley, the 1971 show is, as songwriter Bricusse once said, “a saga about Man, Life, Death, God and The Devil, with the history of the world thrown in.” Among the songs in the show are “The Wisdom of the World,” “I Do Not Love You,” “The Good Things In Life,” and “The People Tree,” along with the title number.

The company features Newley along with Paul Bacon, Keith Chegwin, George Claydon, Fred Evans, Bill Kerr, Terry Mitchell, Anthony Newley, Lesley Roach, Rob Stuart, Julia Sutton, and Caroline Villiers.
