Lenny Wolpe, Marilyn Sokol Set for Old Jews Telling Jokes

Casting has been announced for the Off-Broadway premiere of Old Jews Telling Jokes, beginning May 1 at the Westside Theatre. Marc Bruni will direct.

Created by Peter Gethers and Daniel Okrent, Old Jews Telling Jokes is a revue which aims to pay tribute to and reinvent classic jokes. The show will also include new and old comic songs as well as tributes to OldJewsTellingJokes.com, the website that inspired the show.

The cast will feature Bill Army, Marilyn Sokol, Todd Susman, Audrey Lynn Weston, and Lenny Wolpe.

The design team will include David Gallo (set and video design), Alejo Vietti (costume design), Jeff Croiter (lighting design), and Richard Fitzgerald/Sound Associates (sound design).
