Julian Fleisher, Kacie Sheik, A.J. Shively Set for February House at The Public

The entire cast of the Long Wharf Theatre‘s recent presentation of the world premiere musical February House will reprise their performances for The Public Theater run of the show, May 8-June 10, with an opening on May 22.

Davis McCallum directs the production, which has music and lyrics by Gabriel Kahane, and book by Seth Bockley. The show is based on a based on a literary biography written by Sherill Tippins, and centers on George Davis’ efforts to create his own utopia in a small house in Brooklyn Heights in the 1940s by bringing together some of the greatest and most colorful minds of a generation.

The cast will feature Stanley Bahorek (Benjamin Britten), Ken Barnett (Peter Pears), Ken Clark (Reeves McCullers), Julian Fleisher (George Davis), Stephanie Hayes (Erika Mann), Erik Lochtefeld (W.H. Auden), Kacie Sheik (Gypsy Rose Lee), A.J. Shively (Chester Kallman), and Kristen Sieh (Carson McCullers).

The production features scenic design by Riccardo Hernandez, costume design by Jess Goldstein, lighting design by Mark Barton, sound design by Leon Rothenberg, and choreography by Danny Mefford.
