FringeNYC Announces 2012 International Productions

The New York International Fringe Festival has announced the international productions which will be part of its 2012 calendar.

Six productions will come to the FringeNYC from Australia, including two from The Blue Room Theatre: Hope is the Saddest and The Pride, along with Alarum Matriark Art Theatre’s Alarum, An End To Dreaming from the company Geppetto, The Soubrettes’ Cabaret Tingel-Tingel, and Rachael Dease’s City of Shadows.

The Festival will also see a quartet of productions from Israel: TheaterCan’s Dogs and Honest Zavi Sahar’s Planet Egg, and Eyal Weiser’s Mein Jerusalem.

Other offerings will come from Japan (Girls Power! -knock’ on the cool earth and Hanafuda Denk! (The House of Death)), Canada (Blanche: The Bittersweet life of a Wild Prairie Dame and mahmoud), Romania (Contrasts), and Brazil (Prelude to Memories and a Broken Love Song).
