Delia Ephron to Release The Lion Is In Novel on March 29

Delia Ephron, co-author of the long-running Off-Broadway play Love, Loss, and What I Wore, will release her new novel, The Lion Is In on Thursday, March 29. Blue Rider Press will publish the book.

The work focuses on three women — one in a wedding dress –who break into a bar on the outskirts of a small Southern town late at night, where they met an old lion who has escaped from the circus.

Ephron is best known as a screenwriter, with her credits including The Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants, You’ve Got Mail, and Michael. She has also written novels, including Hanging Up, and essays and other books, including How to Eat Like a Child.
