Co-written by Kenny Finkle, Bridezilla Strikes Back chronicles the foray of Cynthia Silver, the unwitting star of the inaugural season of the hit series Bridezillas, into reality tv. In 2002, Silver allowed a British camera crew to film the preparations for her lavish wedding for what she was told would be a documentary series called Manhattan Brides and was shocked to discover that the footage had been sold and turned into Bridezillas.

Silver is a faculty member at the Atlantic Theater Company Acting School. Her stage credits include Packawallop Productions' Paper Cranes, Eric Bogosian's Scenes From the New World, Warren Leight's The Loop, and two productions with Partial Comfort, where she is an ensemble member.
