In this inventive and highly theatrical adaptation of C.S. Lewis's beloved tale, two actors play eight characters including children, beavers, fauns, wicked witches, and mythic lions. Highly theatrical, the show's storytelling relies on a 'magic circle' in the theater. When the actors are inside the circle, they show the story as it comes to life. When the actors step outside the circle, they tell you the story.
The show was adapted by le Clanché du Rand, and directed by Julia Beardsley O'Brien. Set and lighting design is by Josh Iacovelli with costumes and masks by Tom Long. Percussionist Shaun Gallant appears at every performance.
