Brave New World Repertory Theatre Announces Spring Residency 2012

Brave New World Repertory Theatre has announced plans for its Spring Residency 2012 at the Brooklyn Lyceum, which will run April 1-May 13.

The residency will include two tales of Brooklyn in rotating repertory. There will be a return engagement of Shakespeare’s The Merry Wives of Windsor (Terrace) (April 18-May 2), set in Windsor Terrace in the 80’s as well as the first ever Brooklyn production of Fabulation, or, the Re-education of Undine (April 25-May 9) by Lynn Nottage.

Brave New World will also present a Studio Conservatory for Young People, six weeks of age-appropriate classes tailored for students aged 3-21. A spring break mini-camp will teach kids ages 7-11 about puppetry and performance (April 16-20). The residency will also feature BNW’s Sunday Tea Reading Series, which will present readings of classic, neglected, and new plays by Brooklyn playwrights.
