Beth Leavel, Lindsay Mendez, John Scherer to Join Songwriter Drew Gasparini at Joe’s Pub

Joe’s Pub is set to present songwriter Drew Gasparini in concert with some of Broadway’s finest performers, March 27 at 9:30pm. Stephen Agosto will direct.

The concert, which will include new music from Gasparini’s Circles and his upcoming serial killer musical Make Me Bad, will feature performances by Tony Award winner Beth Leavel, Catherine Brookman, Kasie Gasparini, F. Michael Haynie, Emma Hunton, Andrew Kober, Lindsay Mendez, Andy Mientus, Catherine Porter, Nadia Quinn, John Scherer, Emily Kay Shrader, and Kacie Sheik.

The band will feature Gasparini on piano, with Adam Stoler (guitars), Andy Kuusisto (bass), and Ahmed Abdur-Rahman (drums).

Award winning singer/songwriter and composer/lyricist Gasparini has shared the stage as a performer with acts such as Jason Mraz, Third Eye Blind, and the Plain White T’s. Drew has contributed music and lyrics to Cait Doyle’s Hot Mess in Manhattan, for which he wrote “The Text Message Song,” as well as to Broadway in South Africa.
