Alexander Cendese and Gabrielle Miller will take over the roles originated by Jeffrey Carlson and Angelica Page, respectively, when Frank Strausser’s comedy Psycho Therapy, returns to The Cherry Lane Theatre for an encore engagement, April 8-May 26. Michael Bush will direct, and original cast members Jan Leslie Harding and Laurence Lau will reprise their roles.

The play involves a couple’s therapy session between Lily (Miller), her fiancée Phillip (Lau) — and Lily’s ex-boyfriend (Cendese), along with therapist Nancy Winston (Harding).

The design team includes Michael V. Moore (set designer), Amanda Bujak (costume designer), Amy Altadonna (sound designer), Jeff Croiter (lighting designer) and Allison Leyton-Brown (composer).

Cendese’s stage credits include the Drama Desk Award winning revival of A View From the Bridge and the Hartford Stage production of Antony and Cleopatra. Film and television credits include Garden Party, You Belong to Me, Greetings From The Shore, The Bedford Diaries, and One Life to Live.

Miller is an award-winning Canadian actor, widely recognized for her lead roles on the hit CTV series Corner Gas (winning two Leo Awards) and the critically acclaimed dramedy Robson Arms (winning a Leo Award and Gemini Award).
