Adam Rothenberg, David Dawson Set for New BBC America Co-Produced Dramaville Series Ripper Street

Stage veterans Adam Rothenberg and David Dawson are set for Ripper Street, a new crime series co-produced by BBC America for BBC America’s Dramaville in the fall, according to published reports.

Ripper Street will be set in 1889 London, during the aftermath of the Ripper murders and centers on the notorious H Division police precinct.

The cast will feature Matthew Macfadyen, Jerome Flynn, and Myanna Buring as well as stage favorites Adam Rothenberg and David Dawson.

Rothenberg has appeared Off-Broadway in The Water Engine, Danny and the Deep Blue Sea and The Wooden Breeks and played Brick in the Kennedy Center production of A Streetcar Named Desire. Dawson’s recent stage credits include Luise Miller at the Donmar Warehouse.
