Actor Warren Stevens Has Died

Actor Warren Stevens has died of lung disease, according to a report in The New York Times. He was 92.

The actor made his Broadway debut in 1947 in Bertolt Brecht’s Galileo, which starred Charles Laughton. Among his other stage credits are Six O’Clock Theatre, Sundown Beach, The Smile of the World, and Detective Story.

Among his many film credits are Forbidden Planet, Deadline U.S.A., The Barefoot Contessa, Gunpoint, Madigan, Red Skies of Montana, and Mr. Belvedere Rings the Bell.

On television, Stevens appeared as multiple characters on such series as Bonanza, Have Gun Will Travel, and Voyage to the Bottom of the Seas. His other credits include such series as Rawhide, The Man From U.N.C.LE., M*A*S*H, Falcoln Crest, and recently E.R.

He is survived by his wife and three children.
