SiriusXM Radio has announced that it will premiere The Book of Mormon Radio, on Saturday, April 2, from 8am to 6pm on Sirius Stars Too, Sirius channel 108 and XM channel 139. The special will be rebroadcast on Sunday, April 3 from 8am to 3pm.

The special will feature interviews with South Park creators Trey Parker and Matt Stone and Avenue Q co-creator Robert Lopez, who together wrote book, music and lyrics for the hit Broadway musical The Book of Mormon, playing the Eugene O’Neill Theatre.

During the special, Seth Rudetsky will also sit down with the critically acclaimed cast of the show: Josh Gad, Andrew Rannells, Nikki M. James, Rory O’Malley and Michael Potts. Also interviewed is the musical’s choreographer and co-director (with Parker), Casey Nicholaw, as well as producer Anne Garefino, who also serves as executive producer for South Park.

The musical follows a pair of mismatched Mormon boys sent on a mission to a place that’s about as far from Salt Lake City as you can get.
