Spider-Man‘s Bono, Steven Spielberg Among Mikhail Gorbachev Award Nominees

Bono, the lead singer of U2 and co-author of the Broadway musical Spider Man: Turn Off the Dark, and Oscar-winning film director Steven Spielberg and are among the nine nominees foe the Mikhail Gorbachev Award, according to published reports.


The award, which is being given to the “Man Who Changed the World,” will be given out by the former Soviet leader on March 30 in London, during a charitable concert dedicated to his 80th birthday.


In addition their artistic endeavors, Bono and Spielberg are also known for their charitable work.
