Reba McEntire to Be Inducted Into Country Hall of Fame

Broadway veteran Reba McEntire will be inducted into the Country Music Hall of Fame later this year, according to published reports. The announcement was made earlier today in Nashville, Tennessee.

McEntire has sold more than 55 million albums in her career, and won numerous awards. She is nominated in the Top Female Vocalist category for the Academy of Country Music Awards, this year and will also co-host the awards at the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas on Sunday, April 3.

McEntire starred in the Broadway revival of Annie Get Your Gun as well as the Carnegie Hall concert of South Pacific, which was broadcast on PBS.
