2011 Golden Globe Award winner Steve Buscemi and his filmmaker wife Jo Andres hosted E#@60: A Benefit Concert Honoring Elliott Sharp’s 60th Birthday, at Brooklyn’s ISSUE Project Room, on Friday, March 4.

The evening featured the concert premiere of Trilogy which features music by Sharp, film by Andres, and text and narrative by Buscemi. Additional performers during the evening included JACK Quartet, Sirius Quartet, Jack Womack, and Tracie Morris.

Buscemi won the Golden Globe for his work in Boardwalk Empire. His theater credits include the original Off-Broadway production of The Exonerated.

Over 250 attendees helped raise approximately $80,000. Proceeds from the benefit support ISSUE’s year-round programs supporting hundreds of artists in the creation and presentation of new work.
