The National Entertainment Fund for the Cultural Arts held the 7th annual Broadway Purim Shpiel, at the Hudson Theatre on Monday, March 14. Gilbert Gottfried hosted the event.
Participants included Nick Adams, Dave Attell, Kelli Barrett, Kevin Earley, Ray Ellin, Kat Hennessey, Curtis Holbrook, Mitchell Jarvis, Scott Kluge, Garrett Long, Patti Murin, Anne L. Nathan, and Dan Naturman.
Playwright David Mamet opened the proceedings with a personal message, and there was a screening of a new short film by the award-winning playwright and director.
Proceeds from the evening benefit The Birthright Israel Foundation, an organization dedicated to sending young Jews from across the world to Israel.
