Michael Early, Debra Ann Byrd to Star in Antony and Cleopatra, Directed by Petronia Paley

Take Wing and Soar Productions has announced casting for Shakespeare’s Antony and Cleopatra, to run March 17-27 at The Poet’s Den Theater. Petronia Paley will direct the production.

Shakespeare’s play charts the doomed romance between the Roman general Marc Antony and the titular Egyptian queen. The company will star Michael Early and Debra Ann Byrd in the title roles, along with Althea Alexis, Andi Bohs, Nehassaiu deGannes, Andre Dell, Lawrence Floyd, Terrell M. Green, David Heron, Aixa Kendrick, Neal Kodinsky, Mark Lang, Gerrad Lobo, Tom Martin, Alejandro Santoni, Norman Anthony Small, Amar Srivastava, Carsey Walker, Jr., Karl O’Brian Williams, Renauld Whie, and Natasha Yannacanedo.

The creative team will include Heather Wolensky (scenic design), James Carter (lighting design), David Withrow (costume design), and David D. Wright (sound design).
