Melba Moore to Play Cafe Carlyle in April

Tony Award winner Melba Moore will offer a two week engagement of her new show, Forever Moore at Café Carlyle, April 26 - May 7. Levi Barcourt will serve as music director.

The show will feature classics from the American Songbook and R&B touchstones, as well as Moore's current hit "Love Is." In addition, she will pay tribute to artists who have influenced her work including Ella Fitzgerald, Lena Horne, and Aretha Franklin.

Moore received the Tony Award for Purlie. Her other stage credits include Hair, Les Miserables, Chicago, and Ain't Misbehavin'.
