Lin-Manuel Miranda to Appear on ABC’s Modern Family

Tony Award winner Lin-Manuel Miranda will appear on ABC’s award-winning sitcom Modern Family later this season as the inventor of an innovative dog-training technique, according to TVGuide.com.

Miranda is best known as the co-author of the Tony Award-winning musical In the Heights, and originated the role of Usnavi on Broadway. He is also well-known for his work in Freestyle Love Supreme.

Modern Family stars Ed O’Neill, Sofia Vergara, Jesse Tyler Ferguson, Eric Stonestreet, Ty Burrell, Julie Bowen, and Sarah Hyland.
