Composer/lyricist Adam Gwon, professor Randy Redd, and the writing team of Kyle Ewalt and Michael I. Walker will take part in the 92YTribeca’s Behind the Music-al: Unfinished Business, to be offered on Monday, March 21 at 7pm.

The evening will be a behind-the-scenes look at a new generation of musical theater composers, as the participants discuss songs that wound up on the cutting room floor, or are still being developed for new projects, as well as the ways in which uncompleted songs can be transformed into new ones.

Gwon’s musicals include Ordinary Days, The Boy Detective Fails, and Bernice Bobs Her Hair. Redd is a professor of musical theater at NYU and, along with David Pittu, wrote What’s That Smell: The Music of Jacob Stirling. Ewalt and Walker have written such shows as Separate: Battle Songs of Youth and Bromance: the Dudesical.
