Jonathan Cake to Join ABC’s Desperate Housewives

Jonathan Cake will join the cast of ABC’s Desperate Housewives later this season, according to Deadline.com.

He will play Aaron, a college-educated police detective with strong family values who comes to Wisteria Lane to investigate a case and becomes involved with Bree (played by Marcia Cross).

Cake’s many stage credits include The Philanthropist, Cymbeline, Medea, Restoration, A Flea in Her Ear, Almost an Evening, Parlour Song, Baby Doll, Coriolanus, and Doubt.

Desperate Housewives also stars Teri Hatcher, Felicity Huffman, Eva Longoria, James Denton, and Vanessa Williams.
