Gary Cole, Fiona Shaw to Appear on HBO’s True Blood

Stage veterans Gary Cole and Fiona Shaw will appear during the fourth season of HBO’s True Blood, according to EW.com. The series is set to return in June.

Shaw’s character, Mamie, will be an underachieving palm reader who is spiritually possessed by an actual witch. No details were given on Cole’s character.

Shaw’s many stage credits include John Gabriel Borkman, London Assurance Waste Land, Mother Courage, Happy Days, and Euripides’ Medea. She is well known for her work in the Harry Potter film series.

Cole appeared on stage in August: Osage County and will headline the Geffen Playhouse’s upcoming production of Superior Donuts.
