Daniel Radcliffe to Receive Trevor Project’s Hero Award

Stage and screen star Daniel Radcliffe will be honored with the Trevor Project’s Hero Award at a ceremony on June 27 at Capitale.

The award recognizes a person who serves as an inspiration to sexual minority youths and increases visibility and understanding of the lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender and questioning community. Since 2009, he has appeared in public service announcements and has made public statements in support of the organization.

Radcliffe is currently starring in the Broadway revival of How to Succeed in Business Without Really Trying, and previously starred on Broadway and the West End in Equus. He is best known for playing the title role in the Harry Potter series of films.
