Writer/performer Daniel Beaty’s award-winning solo show, Through the Night, has added two additional performances at the Westside Theatre, and will play Mondays, March 21 and 28 at 8pm before ending its limited engagement. The production has been directed by Charles Randolph-Wright.

In the show, Beaty portrays a variety of African-American characters, ranging from an inquisitive 10-year-old boy to an elderly preacher, all of whom are connected through their community.

Through the Night recently won the 2010 Audelco Recognition Award for Outstanding Solo Performance, as well as the 2010 Voice of Change Award, both of which Beaty received on Monday, November 15.
