Chicago to Become Fifth-Longest Running Broadway Show on March 25

Chicago the Musical will become the fifth longest running show in Broadway history when it plays its evening performance on Friday, March 25 at the Ambassador Theatre. With this performance, the production will surpass Oh! Calcutta having played a total of 5,960 performances.

Chicago has been directed by Walter Bobbie and choreographed by Ann Reinking. The creative team includes John Lee Beatty (scenic design), William Ivey Long (costume design), Ken Billington (lighting design), and Scott Lehrer (sound design).

The company currently stars Bianca Marroquin as Roxie Hart, Leigh Zimmerman as Velma Kelly, Jeff McCarthy as Billy Flynn, Raymond Bokhour as Amos Hart and Roz Ryan as Matron “Mama” Morton.
