Manhattan Theatre Club has announced a second extension for David Lindsay-Abaire's Good People, at the Samuel J. Friedman Theatre. Daniel Sullivan has directed the production, which will now run through May 29. As a result of the extension, MTC's Broadway revival of Terrence McNally's Master Class, will now begin previews at the Friedman on June 14, with a new opening date of July 7 and tickets for the limited engagement on sale through August 14.

Good People focuses on a woman living in Boston, who, after being fired, turns to an old flame in an attempt to embark on a new start. The production stars Becky Ann Baker, Patrick Carroll, Tate Donovan, Renée Elise Goldsberry, Frances McDormand, and Estelle Parsons.

Master Class will be directed by Stephen Wadsworth, and star Tony and Emmy Award winner Tyne Daly, along with Olivier Award nominee Sierra Boggess. The play focuses on Maria Callas (Daly) and her famous master classes where, late in her own career, she challenges the next generation to make the same sacrifices and dare to rise to the same heights she did.
