Anything Goes, with Bert Lahr, Ethel Merman, Frank Sinatra, et al. Set for March 29 DVD Release

The NBC Colgate Comedy Hour production of Cole Porter’s Anything Goes will be released on DVD on March 29, by The Archive of American Television Presents, a partnership between Entertainment One and the Archive of American Television.

Ethel Merman, Frank Sinatra, Bert Lahr, and Sheree North star in this television version of the hijinks filled musical set aboard a luxury cruise ship that first aired on February 28, 1954.

This a special edition DVD has been digitally re-mastered from Merman’s personal kinescope print, and will also include a newly recorded interview with musical director Buddy Bregman and a 20-page booklet with liner notes from musical theatre writer Stephen Cole.
