PHOTO FLASH: Julie Andrews Visits Irish Rep’s Candida

Julie Andrews visited the cast of the Irish Repertory Theatre‘s Off-Broadway production of George Bernard Shaw’s Candida this past weekend. The production features direction and design by Tony Walton (who was once married to Andrews.)
George Bernard Shaw’s play tells the story of Reverend James Morell (Ciaran O’Reilly) and how his comfortable marriage to Candida (Melissa Errico) is shaken by the arrival
of the young poet, Marchbanks (Sam Underwood). The cast also includes Xanthe Elbrick, Josh Grisetti, and Brian Murray.
In related news, Irish Rep has announced that the production will extend by one week, and will now close on April 25.
