The stars of The Roundabout Theater Company’s production of Tennessee Williams’ The Glass Menagerie — Judith Ivey, Michael Mosley, Patch Darragh, and Keira Keeley — celebrated the show’s opening at the Laura Pels Theatre on Wednesday, March 24, with director Gordon Edelstein.

This fresh interpretation of Williams’ memory play finds Tom Wingfield writing his story in a hotel room as the space is overtaken by the cramped apartment he once shared with his mother Amanda and his sister Laura. The show features Ivey as Amanda Wingfield, Darragh as Tom Wingfield, Keeley as Laura Wingfield, and Mosley as Jim O’Connor.

Edelstein’s production was first seen at the Long Wharf Theatre in New Haven, Connecticut. As previously reported, the production will play L.A.’s Mark Taper Forum, September 12-October 17, following its New York run.
