Patricia Conolly, Lisa Emery, Zach Grenier, Lee Aaron Rosen et al. Set for Atlantic’s Gabriel

Patricia Conolly, Lisa Emery, Zach Grenier, Lee Aaron Rosen, Samantha Soule, and Libby Woodbridge will star in Moira Buffini’s Gabriel, to be presented by the Atlantic Theater Company at the at the Linda Gross Theater, April 23-June 6, with an opening on May 13. David Esbjornson will direct.

In the play, set during the German occupation of the Channel Islands during World War II, a naked young man (played by Rosen) washes up on a Guernsey beach. Unnervingly handsome and fluent in both German and English, he has no recollection of who he is — patriot or Nazi…innocent or madman.

The creative team will include Riccardo Hernandez (scenic design), Martin Pakledinaz (costume design), Scott Zielinski (lighting design ), and Obadiah Eaves (sound design).
