Oskar Eustis to Direct Lawrence Wright’s The Human Scale at Joe’s Pub

Oskar Eustis will direct a workshop of Lawrence Wright’s The Human Scale, to run for four performances in Joe’s Pub at the Public Theater, March 17-21.
Wright’s solo show follows up on his essay “Captives” which was published in in the November 9, 2009 issue of The New Yorker. In it, he offers an unsparing and graphic exploration of the ongoing crisis in Gaza. Wright’s My Trip to Al Qaeda was previously seen at the Culture Project in 2007.
In addition to being a staff writer for The New Yorker, Wright has written the screenplays for The Siege and Noreiga: God’s Favorite.
