Norbert Leo Butz, Zoe Caldwell, Kathie Lee Gifford, Gene Wilder, et al. Set for April Barnes & Noble Events

Barnes & Noble Lincoln Triangle (Broadway and 66th Street) has announced its calendar of April public events.

On Thursday, April 22 at 5pm, Enron stars Norbert Leo Butz and Stephen Kunken will join playwright Lucy Prebble and director Rupert Goold in conversation with Tom Santopietro, to talk about the play, which begins Broadway performances next month. Cast members from the Broadway musical Memphis will join the show’s creators to share selections from the musical’s Original Broadway Cast Recording live on Tuesday, April 6 at 4:30 pm.

Today Show host and stage veteran Kathie Lee Gifford will sign copies of her new picture book for children, Party Animals, on Tuesday, April 13 at 5:30pm. Gene Wilder and his wife Karen will discuss and sign copies of their new book What is This Thing Called Love? on Wednesday, April 28 at 7:30pm. As previously reported, Zoe Caldwell will join author Mary Maher to discuss the latter’s new book, Actors Talk About Shakespeare, on Thursday, April 22 at 7:30 pm.

The store’s “Any Wednesday” cabaret series will spotlight Barbara Carroll (April 7), Greg Purnhagen (April 14), Lua Haber (April 21), and the previously announced Donna Lynne Champlin (April 28). All performances are at 6pm. Additional music events will include Jon Burr and Lynn Stein (Monday, April 25 at 6pm) and an International Women in Jazz concert and CD signing on Sunday, April 18 at 3pm, featuring pianist Katie Cosco, vocalists Cynthia Holiday and Pauline Jean and bassist/vocalist Mimi Jones.
