This adaptation of John Webster's The Duchess of Malfi was penned by Bertolt Brecht and W.H. Auden. It was produced on Broadway in 1946, and intensifies the original's dark undercurrents.
The reading is presented by Red Bull Theater in conjunction with its production of The Duchess of Malfi, which runs through March 28.
