Mark Altman's Sin: A Mystical Comedy closed following its March 21st matinee at the Baruch Performing Arts Center. The production, directed by Kent Paul, had opened officially on March 17.

The producer of the show issued the following statement: "Tish and Benk productions ran out of funds which forced us to close even as audiences were growing. I, personally was very proud of what the director, actors and designers put forth and consider it a miracle that in these tough economic times that it ever saw the light of day."

Based on Isaac Bashevis Singer's The Unseen, the play focused on a happily married couple who is pitted against the devil himself. The cast featured Marilyn Chris, Paul Collins, Jessiee Datino, Pierre Epstein, Sarah Grace Wilson, and Grant James Varjas.

The creative team included Michael Locher (sets), Matthew McCarthy (lighting), China Lee (costumes), and Robert Rees (composer).
