LaChanze to Celebrate Release of Little Diva at May 15 BAMfamily Book Brunch

Tony Award winner LaChanze will celebrate the release of her debut children’s book, Little Diva, at a BAMfamily Book Brunch at the BAMcafé, on Saturday, May 15 from 10:30am to12:30pm.
The book is a valentine to the world of performance, and is illustrated by award-winning artist Brian Pinkney. The event, recommended for children ages 4-8, will include a special performance by LaChanze.
LaChanze won the Tony for her portrayal of Celie in The Color Purple. Her many other stage credits include The Wiz, Baby, Ragtime, Dessa Rose, and Once on This Island.
