Kelsey Grammer and Bebe Neuwirth to Announce 2010 Drama League Nominations

Kelsey Grammer and Bebe Neuwirth will announce the nominations for the 2010 Drama League Awards at a press conference at Sardi’s on April 20 at 11am. The event will be streamed live on the Internet at www.dramaleague.org.
As previously announced, The Drama League’s 76th Annual Awards Ceremony and Luncheon will be held on Friday, May 21 in the Grand Ballroom at the Marriott Marqus Hotel. At the luncheon, the Drama League pays tribute to 60-70 of the season’s best performers, chosen from both Broadway and Off-Broadway productions, who are nominated for The Distinguished Performance Award.
In addition to that award, The Drama League’s bestows four other annual competitive awards: Distinguished Production of a Play, Distinguished Production of a Musical, Distinguished Revival of a Play, and Distinguished Revival of a Musical.
Grammer, who will be starring in the Broadway production of La Cage Aux Folles, and Neuwirth, currently starring in Broadway’s The Addams Family, are linked by their TV work on Cheers and Frasier, in which they played, respectively, Frasier Crane and his ex-wife Lilith.
