Judy Gold, Melissa Joan Hart, and Shirley Knight will star in the Off-Broadway production of Love, Loss, and What I Wore at the Westside Theatre, March 31-April 25, while Doris Roberts will perform in the show April 28-May 23. Additional casting for April and May will be announced at a later date.

Nora and Delia Ephron’s adaptation of Ilene Beckerman’s 1995 book about clothes and the memories they trigger is directed by Karen Carpenter, and features a series of five-person casts that will play in four-week cycles. The current cast (through March 28) includes Didi Conn, Fran Drescher, Jayne Houdyshell, Carol Kane, and Natasha Lyonne.

The design team includes Jo Winiarski (scenic design), Bobby Frederick Tilley II (costume design), Jeff Croiter (lighting design), Walter Trarbach (sound design), and Maria Verel (make-up design).

A portion of the production’s proceeds will benefit Dress for Success, a charity that provides work clothing and job support for low-income women. Audience members are invited to donate their gently-used purses and other accessories in the theatre lobby.
