Vineyard Theatre has announced the trio of events that will comprise its spring series of Vineyard Voices, Monday night panels led by theater professionals from The Vineyard.

On April 12, the theater will offer Developing a New Musical, which will feature Mariana Elder, Chris Miller and Nathan Tysen, all members of the collaborative team behind the company’s current musical, co-produced with Playwrights Horizions, The Burnt Part Boys; Tony Award nominee David Thompson, librettist of the theater’s The Scottsboro Boys; Tony nominee for [title of show] Hunter Bell; and Robin Goldwasser & Julia Greenberg, co-authors of People Are Wrong, which the theater produced. The panel will explore how a musical makes it from conception to the stage and will be moderated by the theater’s executive director Jennifer Garvey-Blackwell.

The May 10 panel, The TV/Theatre Connection, will explore the relationship between writing, producing and acting in television and theater. Panelists and moderator for this event will be announced in the near future.

The third event will be Albee & Eno, to be held on June 7. This evening will feature legendary playwright Edward Albee in conversation with playwright Will Eno, with additional details to be announced shortly.
