Carrie Preston to Join CBS’ The Good Wife

Broadway veteran Carrie Preston will join the CBS drama The Good Wife for multiple episodes this season, according to TVGuide.com. She will be a member of the legal team working with Peter Florick, played by Chris Noth.

Preston’s many stage credits include the Broadway productions of Festen, The Rivals, The Tempest, and Indiscretions. Her Off-Broadway credits include Cycling Past the Matterhorn, Chaucer in Rome, and Anthony and Cleopatra.

She currently plays the role of Arlene on HBO’s hit series True Blood and has appeared on the hit ABC series Lost, opposite her husband, Michael Emerson.

The Good Wife also stars stage veterans Julianna Margulies, Christine Baranski, Josh Charles, and Mary Beth Peil.
