Baby Jane Dexter, Scott Nevins, Sarah Rice, et al. Set to Appear at Laurie Beechman Theatre in April

The Laurie Beechman Theatre has announced its programming for April.

In addition to previously announced performances by Joan Rivers and the continuation of Karen Finley’s The Jackie Look, the theater will be home to Le Scandal Cabaret every Saturday in the month.

Other offerings at the Beechman will come from Broadway’s Sarah Rice, who will perform her show Screen Gems: Songs of Old Hollywood (April 2, 26, 30) and Brandon Cuttrell, in his new variety show, Brandon Cuttrell & Co-Horts April 8, 13).

There will also be two benefit evenings at the Beechman: the monthly installment of the Help Is On the Way Today fundraiser, Cabaret Cares , will be offered on April 25; and on April 12, Baby Jane Dexter, Julie Reyburn, Steve Ross, Tracy Stark and KT Sullivan will be among the artists appearing in Calling All Angels: A Benefit for Gregory Kennell, a special cabaret brunch show to benefit Gregory Kennell, stricken with demyelinating encephalitis and related consequences.

Concert performances at the Beechman in April will include Jimmy Gleason’s Actor Under Fire (April 5, 12); as well as one-night-only appearances by Scott Nevins (April 1), Sue Matsuki (April 5), Joshua Warr (April 8), Brett Kristofferson (April 15), Steven Lutvak (April 16), Susie Mosher (April 18), Scot Albertson (April 22), and Tony De Nicola (April 23), as well as composer/lyricist Tyler Adcock (April 28).
