Tony Award Winner Natasha Richardson Injured in Ski Accident

Tony Award winner Natasha Richardson is in a Canadian hospital having been critically injured in a skiing accident, according to published reports, including People.com. No further details have been released.

Richardson won the Tony Award for her role as Sally Bowles in the Roundabout Theatre’s revival of Cabaret. She also starred for the Roundabout in Eugene O’Neill’s Anna Christie, opposite future husband Liam Neeson, and most recently headlined the Roundabout’s benefit concert version of Stephen Sondheim’s A Little Night Music alongside her mother, Vanessa Redgrave.

Her many film and television credits include The Handmaid’s Tale, A Month in the Country, Patty Hearst, Suddenly Last Summer, Nell, Maid in Manhattan, and Evening.
