Tony Award winnner Sutton Foster was honored at Sardi’s on March 3 with her own caricature, which has been added to the walls of the famed theater district restaurant. Foster is currently starring as Princess Fiona in the Broadway production of Shrek The Musical at the Broadway Theatre.

Among those who attended the ceremony were many of her Shrek family, including Christopher Seiber, who plays Lord Farquaad, book writer David Lindsay-Abaire, and choreographer Josh Prince. Other attendees included Edward Hibbert, who shared the stage with Foster in The Drowsy Chaperone.

Foster recently released her first solo CD, Wish, on Ghostlight Records. She won the Tony for Thoroughly Modern Millie and her other Broadway credits include Young Frankenstein, The Drowsy Chaperone, and Little Women. She has done cabaret shows at the Allen Room at Jazz at Lincoln Center, Joe’s Pub, and she is set to take the stage at Feinstein’s at the Loews Regency on April 6 and 20.
