Manhattan Theatre Club has announced extensions of its two productions, currently playing at New York City Center.

Lynn Nottage’s Ruined, directed by Kate Whoriskey, has been extended a third time, and will now run through May 3. The play focuses on Mama Nadi, a shrewd businesswoman living in a small mining town in the Democratic Republic of the Congo. Saidah Arrika Ekulona stars as Mama Nadi, with the cast also including Quincy Tyler Bernstine, Cherise Boothe, Chris Chalk, William Jackson Harper, Chiké Johnson, Russell G. Jones, Simon Shabantu Kashama, Kevin Mambo, Tom Mardirosian, Ron McBee, and Condola Rashad.

Lorenzo Pisoni’s solo show, Humor Abuse, will now play through April 19. Co-created and directed by Erica Schmidt, it tells the story of Pisoni’s upbringing as a member of the Bay Area’s famed Pickle Family Circus.
